Precision Crafting the Unique
The Atelier is the technical core of the Maison Maite Bailleul. It is not merely a place of construction, but a space where expertise and rigorous execution transform the creative vision into an architectural piece. Every gown is approached as a textile work of art demanding absolute precision.
We apply a working methodology inherited from Haute Couture to ensure the garment perfectly aligns with the client’s silhouette and personality.
The Creation process
Our process is meticulously structured, ensuring both serenity and excellence.
1. Sketching and Material Selection
The design is finalized following the creative consultation. This is when raw materials are drastically selected. We commit to using noble fabrics (silks, laces, crêpes) chosen for their flawless drape, magnifying the Maison’s modern, understated aesthetic.
2. Bespoke pattern drafting
Pattern drafting is the foundational step. Your gown’s pattern is drawn and constructed exclusively according to your precise measurements. This technical work guarantees line balance and the comfort of the final garment, far surpassing ready-to-wear standards.
3. The toile and initial fittings
A first version is created as a toile to validate the volume, cut, and main lines. This critical control point allows for structural adjustments, ensuring seamless progress toward the final piece.
4. Construction and finishing
The garment is then cut from the definitive fabrics. Assembly is carried out with meticulous attention to detail and invisible finishes. Every seam reflects an artisanal savoir-faire where perfection is the sole standard.
5. Final adjustments and Presentation
Final appointments are dedicated to millimeter-precise adjustments and the ultimate verification of the drape. The gown’s presentation marks the completion of an exclusive collaboration, ensuring you receive a piece whose fit and elegance are absolutely flawless.
